We put our own unique personal touch on every event we cater so you can relax and focus on what's important—having a great time with your guests—while we take care of the details. We understand that properly planning an event necessitates meticulous attention to every detail. It's critical to ensure that everyone has a good time while also serving delicious food. Even the most discerning palates will be pleased.

How much space is required for the SRI DAKSHIN EATS trailer?

The trailer is 5 meters long, 3.5 meters wide and 3.2 meters high.

Do we have to provide power when we hire the SRI DAKSHIN EATS trailer?

Yes, we require power for our lights when you hire us.

Do you supply disposable plates and cutlery?

Yes, when you hire us, we take care of end-to-end requirements. Disposable cutlery, plates and napkins are not to be worried about.

We are unable to accommodate your van due to space issues; can we still hire you for a smaller space?

Yes, we can do indoor pop up’s or provide catering take away.

Can you create a bespoke menu for us?

Yes, we can curate the menu as per your requirement.

What does the minimum spend per person?

Minimum spend can be $21 per person or lower depending on choice of menu and size of the event (minimum 25 people). The overall cost to hire our trailer will be $200 per day.

Is there a minimum booking fee required to hire you?

We take 25% advance payment at the time of booking and rest a week before the event date.

Is your food HALAL?

Yes, we use HALAL meats from certified suppliers.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3.

  1. Select your menu: With trailer catering, food is collected from the trailer, all starters are served individually. If you select only one starter, everyone will be served the same dish. There are 2-3 mains available for guests to choose from on the day. We will walk you through the best options available.
  2. Provide specifics: How many people will be there? Where will the event take place? When will the event take place? When do you want your service to begin and end?

Create your own set menu from the selection

Guests to choose 1 main from 2 or 3 available dishes on the day. All mains come with side of Flavoured Rice and salad with Citrus and herb dressing. If you have chosen any Biryanis, no flavoured rice will be offered, instead Mirchi Ka Salan or Raita is available.

Chicken Manchurian - Delicious fried chicken in sweet, hot & sour Manchurian sauce

Chicken majestic - Deep fried chicken strips coated in spicy, tangy yoghurt sauce with mint shreds

Chilli chicken - Crispy chicken chunks lightly tossed in a spicy chilli sauce. Packed full of amazing flavours

Vegetable Manchurian - a delicious Indo-Chinese dish made with wisps of vegetables formed into dumplings and tossed in hot, sweet, sour, and salty sauce (V)

Gobi 65 - Marinated and battered cauliflower deep fried, tossed in green chillies and curry leaves (V)

Baby corn majestic - Baby corn battered and quick tossed in chilli, mint, and yoghurt (V)

Vegetable Samosa - Pastry stuffed with potato, green peas, and aromatics. Served with sweet tamarind chutney (V)

Dum ka Murgh - Dum ka Murgh is also popularly known as Lagan ka Murgh in Hyderabad which is slow cooked marinated chicken in cashew and poppy seed paste and cooked on dum

Andhra Kodi Koora - A humble chicken curry home cooked prepared in Andhra style with tomatoes and onions

Kadai Murgh - Chicken karahi masala (sauce) gets much of its flavour from garlic, ginger, and red chilies. There are lots of warming spices in this dish, as well as chiles

Butter Chicken - Butter chicken originated from Northern India in 1948. Prepared in a buttery gravy with the addition of cream gives the curry sauce a silky-smooth rich texture

Kashmiri Lamb Rogan Josh - The meat is braised in a gravy made of caramelised onions, yoghurt, ginger, garlic, and a handful of spices like bay leaves, cardamom, cinnamon, and dried red Kashmiri chillies

Gongura Mamsam - The Andhra-style mutton curry called mamsam is a delectable curry which is made with Gongura, leaves which lend a distinctive flavour to the mutton curry, when it is slow-cooked in a spicy gravy
